For the past two days (September 8 and 9), I have been attending the Gen Z movement, and honestly, it was refreshing to see the unity among us.
While vandalism has pushed us back for a few years, I am confident that together we will make Nepal great again.
However, since we stopped the protest, I have noticed behaviors from the very individuals that we were fed up with.
So, in this article, I hope I can expose some of them or at least the patterns that I have seen till now.
Furthermore, I would also try to update this blog as time goes by.
1. The Involvement of Rastriya Swatantra Party
We all know what’s going on right now — and let’s be honest, a lot of us are frustrated with RSP leader Rabi Lamichhane. The thing is, it’s not like we want to hate on him blindly. Deep down, most of us just want him to clear his name the right way.
But let’s be real, the way he walked out of Nakkhu jail in the middle of all that chaos didn’t feel natural at all. Something about it just didn’t sit right with people, and that’s why so many of us are questioning what really went down.
However, let me tell you there is more to it.
Most of the games they play are never direct. They use social media way more than we do. At the same time, we Gen Z are active on platforms like Instagram, Reddit, and Snapchat. Our older generation is way more active on platforms like Facebook.
In facebook, now people that used to believe in different political idealogies have started renaming their group to gen z. They haven’t even denounced that they no longer belong to that party.
These groups in long run can wash the mind of older generation at the time of election.
In fact, even as we speak they might change the whole narritive. They might influence other people like us to intiate to do immoral things.
Here is the link of the group whose name was recently changed: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1086769201826835/about

2. Political Parties And Their Facebook Group Name Changed
And please for god sake, don’t believe in any of the political parties for now. Every political party that operated as the hub for information center between their member their name is currently checked.

Update as of September 11, 12:32 am:
Apparently, many people are getting these kinds of messages, in protest. But please let’s not protest, let’s move forward rather than looking backward.
